Vogue annuncia i 17 trend per l’autunno/inverno 2019-2020 e noi desideriamo dare buone notizie agli amanti della moda sostenibile. Molte proposte, in particolare le due principali tendenze a contrasto, lo stile borghese da una parte e il punk dall’altra, hanno radici nel passato: potremo attingere da armadi di genitori, zii e nonni o dai mille negozi fisici e on line di vintage.

Protagonisti sono ancora gli anni ’80 e fine anni ’70. Con borchie, linee squadrate, look androgini e richiami allo spirito punk. Ma anche con spalline, squadrate e voluminose, pied de poule e colori neon. 

E ancora, con lo stile borghese che propone silhouette raffinate, gonne pantalone, blazer, pantaloni a pieghe dritte, cappotti sartoriali e trench.

Tornano le mantelle, create per offrire a chi le indossa uno strato di protezione (come i mantelli dei super eroi), di origini antiche e ciclicamente riportate in voga. 

 Un altro trend sarà la lingerie non più riservata alla notte, ma sfoggiata nel quotidiano con pizzi e baby-doll. Anche qui usato e vintage offrono ampia scelta.

Tra le 17 tendenze, la risposta alla crisi dei cambiamenti climatici, con voluminose giacche trapuntate, strane creazioni ibride, maschere a gas, che lascia trapelare una visione non ottimistica preoccupata per la fine del mondo. Un po’ contraddittoria la moda, che con il suo significativo impatto ambientale porta in passerella le sue paure relative ai cambiamenti climatici. Di questo trend non abbiamo proposte di acquisti, ma il suggerimento di reagire alla paura della crisi comprando meno e in caso di necessità di optare per il riuso, il riciclo, l’usato, il vintage e i tessuti più sostenibili, così – al contrario – da evitare di indossare maschere a gas o vestiti di protezione in uno scenario apocalittico.

English: The trends of autumn / winter 2019-2020 to be discovered in a sustainable version!

Vogue announces the 17 trends for fall/winter 2019-2020 and we would like to give good news to lovers of sustainable fashion. Many proposals, in particular the two main contrasting tendencies, the bourgeois style on the one hand and punk on the other, have roots in the past: we can dip into the closets of parents, uncles and grandparents or into thousands of physical and online vintage shops.

The protagonists are still the 80s and the late 70s. With studs, square lines, androgynous looks and references to the punk spirit. But also with shoulder pads, square and voluminous, houndstooth and neon colors.

 Moreover, with the bourgeois style that proposes refined silhouettes, pants skirts, blazers, straight pleated trousers, tailored coats and trench coats.

The capes are coming back, created to offer the wearer a layer of protection (like the super heroes’ cloaks), of ancient origins, periodically reappearing in vogue.

Another trend will be the lingerie, no longer reserved for the night but shown off in the daily life with lace and baby dolls. Also in this case, second-hand and vintage sources offer an ample choice.

Among the 17 trends, also the one in response to the crisis of climate change, with voluminous quilted jackets, strange hybrid creations, gas masks, which let slip a non-optimistic vision that fears the end of the world. Fashion is a bit contradictory, with its significant environmental impact bringing its fears about climate change to the catwalk. We have no purchase proposals for this trend but the suggestion to react to the fear of the crisis: by buying less and in case of need to opt for re-use, recycling, use second-hand option, vintage and more sustainable fabrics, so – on the contrary – with the purpose of avoiding wearing gas masks or protective clothing in an apocalyptic scenario.
