Un progetto unico in Italia: dopo la collaborazione con The Bridge, Vintag propone un progetto di Economia Circolare nella moda in partnership con Carrera Jeans. Il marketplace bolognese dedicato al vintage continua a coinvolgere grandi brand della moda italiana.
Per incentivare il riciclo e il riuso, dal 2 settembre al 6 ottobre 2019 Carrera Jeans regala un buono sconto del 20% per l’acquisto di un nuovo prodotto a chi acquista o vende un articolo prodotto dall’azienda di Verona sull’app Vintag.
“Vintage è etico e sostenibile – chiarisce la fondatrice di Vintag, Francesca Tonelli a capo di un team di 10 persone al 90% composto da donne under 40. Niente è più “green” del prolungare la durata di utilizzo e del dare una seconda possibilità a un oggetto che qualcun altro non usa più. Vintage è sinonimo di meno oggetti nuovi da produrre e dunque meno sprechi e inquinamento”.
L’anima green del marchio Carrera Jeans è nota da tempo e ha radici profonde. “Un giorno mio nonno mi disse: “Se tu lasci ai tuoi figli un posto peggiore di quello che ti ho lasciato io, non vedo l’utilità della tua venuta sulla terra”. Questa è la filosofia sulla quale si basa la nostra azienda. Dopo aver installato i primi pannelli solari sul tetto dei nostri capannoni abbiamo deciso di ampliare il consumo di energia verde a tutti i negozi sul territorio nazionale”, spiega Gianluca Tacchella, Ceo dell’azienda fondata nel 1965 dai fratelli Tito, Imerio e Domenico Tacchella. “Abbiamo scelto Vintag perché troviamo il loro modello interessante e vincente. Cerchiamo di essere sostenibili a 360°: non lo facciamo per dare al nostro brand un’immagine più verde e più sostenibile. Non lo urliamo a voce alta. Lo facciamo perchè è giusto farlo, perchè è etico e perchè vogliamo assumerci la responsabilità delle nostre azioni”.

A unique project in Italy: after the collaboration with The Bridge, Vintag proposes a project of Circular Economy in fashion in partnership with Carrera Jeans. The marketplace from Bologna dedicated to vintage continues to involve major Italian fashion brands.
To encourage recycling and reuse, from 2 September to 6 October 2019 Carrera Jeans offers a 20% discount voucher for the purchase of a new product to those who buy or sell an item produced by the company on the Vintag app.
“Vintage is ethical and sustainable – explains the founder of Vintag, Francesca Tonelli at the head of a team of 10 people at 90% composed of women under 40. Nothing is more “green” than extending the duration of use and giving a second chance to an object that someone else no longer uses. Vintage is synonymous with fewer new objects to produce and therefore less waste and pollution”.
The green soul of the Carrera Jeans brand has long been known and has deep roots. “One day my grandfather told me: “If you leave your children a worse place than the one I left you, I don’t see the usefulness of your coming on earth”. This is the philosophy on which our company is based. After having installed the first solar panels on the roof of our warehouses, we decided to expand the consumption of green energy to all the stores in Italy”, explains Gianluca Tacchella, CEO of the company founded in 1965 by brothers Tito, Imerio and Domenico Tacchella .“We chose Vintag because we find their interesting and winning model. We try to be sustainable at 360°: we don’t do it to give our brand a greener and more sustainable image. We don’t shout it out loud. We do it because it is right to do it, because it is ethical and because we want to take responsibility for our actions”.
