Italian brand, from the Treviso countryside. The shoes are in hemp with jute effect or woven effect.

Komodo is dedicated to creating clothes that are sustainable and that don’t have a negative impact on the environment. Production is in Kathmandu, Bali and India. After the earthquake in Nepal in 2015 they had to transfer part of the production to China, carefully choosing a small company run by women.

Komodo is GOTS certified and a member of the soil association.

A textile fiber alternative to hemp comes from Delerah. They are colorful and water resistant.
Shape and design are conceived to ensure comfort even for those with back problems. The use of other materials is not specified.








For sale at Vegan Shoes, Zouri’s slippers are handmade in Barcelos, Portugal. The materials used are:

  • Upper in natural hemp
  • Inner lining in ecological microfiber
  • Anatomic footbed in ecological microfiber
  • Cork sole, tread with natural rubber and plastic recovered from the ocean

Spanish brand, offers Alanis and Srinivasa sandals made with washed recycled cotton.

The sole of the shoe is made of natural latex and cork recycled from bottle caps. The logo is marked with green eco-ink (solvent-free). The recycled EVA rubber sole is sewn only to the sole, thus obtaining comfort, lightness and recyclability.

They are handmade to order in their workshop in Elche (Spain).
