Un giorno – presto – sarà possibile identificare i prodotti grazie all’attribuzione di una propria identità digitale. La nostra camicia avrà un certificato di nascita con indicazione delle caratteristiche, un passaporto per essere rintracciato lungo il ciclo di vita e un identificatore fisico permanente (ad esempio un codice QR) che consente di accedere, verificare e ampliare in modo efficiente i dati del prodotto man mano che si sposta nel percorso di vita Oggi non identifichiamo i prodotti dopo la vendita nell’economia circolare, rendendo impossibile gestirli in modo intelligente e sostenibile.

Che materiali contiene? Che marchio è? Qual è il suo valore? Quali sono le istruzioni per riciclarlo? Dove può essere rivenduto? L’identità digitale che accompagnerà i capi consentirà di avere queste informazioni essenziali per l’identificazione e la gestione del prodotto e dei suoi materiali nell’economia circolare.

CircularID è lo standard globale e il sistema digitale per l’identificazione e la gestione dei prodotti nell’economia circolare. Un’identità digitale è una replica virtuale, un “gemello” digitale, di un prodotto fisico e consente di connettere un prodotto a Internet of Things (IoT) e di scambiare informazioni sul prodotto via Internet, consentendo di identificare prodotti e materiali per riutilizzo, rivendita, riparazione, noleggio, logistica, riciclo e altro ancora. 

Il progetto Connect Fashion è frutto di una partnership tra leader del settore della moda e della vendita al dettaglio e partner di aziende circolari, tecnologia, politica e università, tra cui H&M, Target e Microsoft. L’iniziativa è stata introdotta da Eon in collaborazione con Members & Partners.

Ogni secondo un camion di rifiuti tessili è bruciato o portato nelle discariche a cielo aperto. L’economia circolare è una delle principali soluzioni allo spreco nel campo tessile e dell’abbigliamento. Speriamo che l’identità digitale CircularID, il cui lancio è previsto per dicembre 2019, porti un valido aiuto nel realizzare questo tipo di economia diversa rispetto a quella che ha dominato fino a oggi.

English: A passport for your dress, to make circular fashion a reality!

One day – soon – it will be possible to identify the products thanks to the attribution of a digital identity. Our shirt will have a birth certificate with indication of the characteristics, a passport to be tracked along the life cycle and a permanent physical identifier (for example a QR code) that allows to access, verify and expand efficiently the product data as we move in the path of life. Today we do not identify products after the sale in the circular economy, making it impossible to manage them intelligently and sustainably.

What is the material content? What brand is it? What is the value? What are the instructions for recycling it? Where can it be resold? The digital identity that will accompany the garnments will make it possible to have this essential information for the identification and management of the product and its materials in the circular economy.

CircularID is the global standard and digital system for identifying and managing products in the circular economy. A digital identity is a virtual replica, a digital “twin”, of a physical product and allows you to connect a product to the Internet of Things (IoT) and exchange information about the it via the Internet, allowing to identify products and materials for reuse, resale, repair, rental, logistics, recycling and more. 

The Connect Fashion project is the result of a partnership between leaders in the fashion and retail industry and partners from circular businesses, technology, policy, and academia, including H&M, Target and Microsoft. The initiative was introduced by Eon in collaboration with Members & Partners.

Every second a textile waste truck is burned or sent to landfills. The circular economy is one of the main solutions to waste in the textile and clothing sector. We hope that the CircularID digital identity, which is scheduled to be launched in December 2019, will be of great help in achieving this kind of economy other than the one that has dominated until today.
