\"39883581_425133181344873_8060477025481129984_n\"<\/b>Com\u2019\u00e8 nata l\u2019idea?<\/b>
\n\u201cIl mio progetto \u00e8 maturato dallo studio di alcune materie che ho affrontato all\u2019Istituto tecnico di chimica, materiali, biotecnologie e ambiente \u201cGrazia Deledda\u201d di Trieste. Dall\u2019et\u00e0 di 17 anni le mie ricerche mi hanno portato a presentare la mia start up come tesina per l\u2019esame di maturit\u00e0.
\nHo impiegato due anni per concretizzare Kibou e a 19 anni ho deciso di mettermi in gioco: ho iniziato utilizzando il cotone biologico trattato senza pesticidi<\/b>, i<\/b> colori all\u2019acqua per le stampe <\/b>e trovando i fornitori giusti per la mia idea. La mia azienda rispetta l\u2019ambiente in tutta la filiera, imballaggi, marketing e vestiario<\/b>. Il brand \u00e8 lo strumento che utilizzo per comunicare \u201cKibou\u201d, tradotto dal giapponese, significa \u201csperanza\u201d<\/b>, in tutta la molteplicit\u00e0 di significati che questo termine pu\u00f2 comprendere: esso infatti delinea la speranza come un\u2019ideale di libert\u00e0, lungimiranza, dignit\u00e0 e audacia. La scelta del nome \u00e8 stata molto difficile perch\u00e9 la mia intenzione era di trovare un nome significativo in cui qualunque persona interessata potesse rintracciare il messaggio aziendale. Infine per il logo che identifica il brand abbiamo deciso di utilizzare un\u2019aquila che simboleggia la perseveranza e le aspirazioni elevate<\/b>\u201d.<\/p>\n

Quali materiali sono utilizzati?<\/b>
\n\u201cPer adesso vendo esclusivamente cotone biologico, trattato senza pesticidi, ma un domani mi piacerebbe riuscire portare il lino e la canapa\u201d.<\/p>\n

Dove sono prodotti i capi?<\/b>
\n\u201cI miei capi sono prodotti in Bangladesh ma i miei fornitori fanno parte della FAIR WEAR Foundation<\/b> che effettua monitoraggi a livello di sfruttamento del personale e impatto ambientale sulle fabbriche in India, Bangladesh e Cina. Secondo me conta molto COME viene fatto, no DOVE viene fatto\u201d.<\/p>\n

Oltre alle materie prime e alla produzione, in quali altri aspetti poni attenzione all\u2019ambiente?<\/b>
\n\u201cOltre al fatto di avere l\u2019abbigliamento ecologico, io punto che tutta la filiera sia responsabile verso l\u2019ambiente dal marketing, all\u2019imballaggio, alle spedizioni. Per esempio per il marketing ci affidiamo esclusivamente on line quindi NO carta e volantini, gli adesivi che utilizziamo come merchandising provengono da un\u2019azienda che ricicla l\u201980% della plastica<\/b>. Invece l\u2019imballaggio cerchiamo di ridurlo all\u2019essenziale e i cartoni che utilizziamo per le spedizioni sono riciclati<\/b>\u201d.<\/p>\n

Ci sono punti nel processo di creazione del tuo abbigliamento che desideri migliorare?<\/b>
\n\u201cLe spedizioni: vengono effettuate tramite corriere quindi camion e aerei, ma \u00e8 un progetto molto ambizioso che non \u00e8 ancora alla mia portata\u201d.<\/p>\n

Dove possiamo acquistare i tuoi capi?<\/b>
\n\u201cIn questo momento i miei prodotti possono essere comprati esclusivamente on line. Ma stiamo iniziando ad approcciarci con qualche negozio fisico a Trieste\u201d.

Cosa possiamo dire ai tuoi coetanei per orientarli verso scelte pi\u00f9 consapevoli (come quella che proponi) invece di ricercare capi a pochi euro nelle catene fast fashion? <\/b>
\n\u201cAi miei coetanei posso dire che chi sceglie di gettarsi in questo mondo lo deve fare per inseguire un sogno, un progetto e un messaggio ponderato. Tutto nasce da un pensiero che l’industria tessile deve agire in modo responsabile rispettando l\u2019ambiente e il benessere della persona. Il cambiamento inizia con la consapevolezza che ogni scelta d’acquisto pu\u00f2 fare la differenza<\/b>\u201d.<\/p>\n

How do you conceive the idea?<\/b>
\n\u201cMy project was grown from studying some subjects at the “Grazia Deledda” Technical Institute of chemistry, materials, biotechnology and environment in Trieste.
\nSince I was 17 years old, my researches have brought me to present my start up as the essay for the high school diploma.
\nI took 2 years to realise Kibou and at 19 years old I decided to take a challenge: I started using organic cotton treated without pesticides, water colours for printing<\/strong> and finding the right providers for my idea. My company respects the environment along the chain: packaging, marketing and clothes. <\/strong>The brand is the tool I use to communicate “Kibou\u201d, translated from Japanese means \u201chope\u201d<\/b>, in all the range of meanings that this word can include: it outlines hope as an ideal of freedom, foresight, dignity and courage. The name choice was very difficult because my intention was to find a meaning name in which any person interested in could find the company message. Moreover, for the logo that identifies the brand we have decided to use an eagle symbolising persistence and high aspiration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Which materials are used ?<\/b>
\n\u201cFor now I sell only organic cotton, treated without pesticides, but tomorrow I would like to bring linen and hemp”.<\/p>\n

Where are the garments produced?<\/b>
\n\u201cMy garments are produced in Bangladesh but my providers have joined the FAIR WEAR Foundation that monitors people slavery and the environmental impact of factories in India, Bangladesh and China. In my opinion it means a lot HOW it is produced, not WHERE”.<\/p>\n

In addiction to the raw materials and the production, in which aspects do you pay attention to the environment?<\/b>
\n\u201cBesides the ecological clothes, I count on the fact that all the chain is responsible towards the environment, from marketing to packaging to deliveries. For example, we entrust the marketing only to the web, so NO paper neither fliers, the stickers we use as merchandising come from a company who recycle the 80% from plastic<\/strong>. While we try to reduce the packaging to the essential and the cardboard for the deliveries is recycled<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

Is there any step of the creation process of your clothing that you wish to improve?<\/b>
\n\u201cThe deliveries: they are realised through courier, so trucks and planes, but it is a very ambitious project that it is not still at my reach”.<\/p>\n

Where can we purchase your clothes?<\/b>
\n\u201cMy products can be currently purchased only on line. But we are starting to approach some real shops in Trieste.

What can we say to your same age peers to guide them in the direction of more conscious choices (as the one you propose), instead of looking for items of few euros in the fast fashion chains? <\/b>
\n\u201cTo my same age peers I can say that who decides to plunge into this world should do it to follow a dream, a project and a mindful message. Everything starts from a thought that the textile industry should act responsibly with respect of the environment and people wellness. The change begins with the awareness that each purchasing choice can make the difference<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n
