\nGrazie alle organizzazioni impegnate nel progetto Healthy Seas e grazie a Lipari Diving, alla Gorgonia Diving Center, a sub italiani e olandesi, ai pescatori eoliani e alla Guardia Costiera, tra il 6 e l\u20198 ottobre sono state recuperate nelle isole Eolie 4 tonnellate di reti, tra cui una molto grande del peso di 2 tonnellate. Quanto raccolto sar\u00e0 trasformato in una fibra sostenibile, l\u2019ECONYL\u00ae, utilizzato nell\u2019industria della moda e nella produzione di tappeti e moquette, come spiega il Presidente e Amministratore Delegato di Aquafil, Giulio Bonazzi. \u201cEppure dobbiamo guardare oltre il semplice schema del recupero e riciclo dei prodotti a fine vita, pensando a design sostenibili che permettano la circolarit\u00e0 compiuta delle diverse fasi di vita dei prodotti e a un sistema industriale pi\u00f9 sostenibile\u201d.
\nL\u2019ECONYL\u00ae \u00e8 un filo di nylon rigenerato, recuperato da reti da pesca, scarti di tessuto e tappeti destinati alla discarica per diventare una materia prima di qualit\u00e0. Pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato per costumi da bagno, calzature sportive, intimo e abbigliamento da esterno.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the organisations engaged in the Healthy Seas project and thanks to Lipari Diving, to Gorgomnia Diving Center, to Italian and Dutch divers, to Aeolian fishermen and the Coast Guard, between the 6th and the 7th of October 4 tons of fishing nets were removed in the Aeolian Islands. One of them was of 2 tons. \n640,000 tons of fishnets are globally estimated to lay on our sea bottoms (from UNEP and FAO reports).<\/p>\n
\nECONYL\u00ae is a regenerated nylon thread, recovered from fishing nets, fabric scraps and carpets destined for landfill in order to become quality raw material. It can be used for swimwear, sportswear, lingerie and outdoor clothing.<\/p>\n
