Quando compriamo una giacca, è meglio sceglierla pensando di non disfarsene il prossimo anno ma che possa piacerci nel tempo. Perché per quanto la produzione sia stata realizzata con attenzione alla sostenibilità si tratta comunque di materiali riciclati, più durano e più l’ambiente ringrazia. Un buon capo può arrivare dopo decenni alla fine del ciclo di vita. Scegliete qualcosa di cui non vi stancherete presto!

Ecoalf
Giacca realizzato al 100% da bottiglie di plastica riciclate. Abbiamo scelto questa ma Ecoalf, brand spagnolo, propone diversi modelli, più sotto il link per visionarli. Ci piace il loro impegno in progetti di pulizia del mare dalla plastica, recuperando rifiuti nel Mediterraneo con la collaborazione dei pescatori.
“Cerchiamo una nuova generazione di consumatori con una consapevolezza in aumento e allo stesso tempo fedeli ai loro valori estetici. Save the duck
È uno dei miei marchi preferiti. La giacca che proponiamo è in 100% poliestere riciclato, con 30% di componente PET a base vegetale , creato attraverso la polimerizzazione e la filatura a fusione di glicole etilenico derivato dalle piante, estratto dalla melassa di canna da zucchero. È reversibile, quindi sarà come avere due giacche: abbiamo scelto questa in verde oliva da un lato e verde scuro dall’altro. È ripiegabile nella sua borsa per il trasporto (vi assicuro che risulta molto comodo quando si viaggia da un posto caldo a uno freddo o viceversa).
La gamma proposta è ampia, ma verificate di scegliere la linea in materiale riciclato, ottenuto dalle bottiglie di plastica.

Un altro marchio italiano, da cui abbiamo selezionato questa giacca stretch, dal massimo comfort e che offre protezione da pioggia, neve, freddo e vento. Completamente prodotta in Italia, è realizzata al  100% in materiale riciclato.
Quagga propone capi di abbigliamento sostenibili e responsabili, “realizzati in contesti di giustizia sociale privi di discriminazioni, ponendo sempre al centro della nostra attività il rispetto per l’ambiente, per le persone e per le relazioni umane. Tutti i tessuti utilizzati sono in poliestere 100% riciclato con certificazione Bluesign, le ovatte termiche sono rigorosamente in fibra riciclata che, da Bergamo, viene lavorata vicino a Padova; anche le chiusure lampo sono in nylon o poliestere senza PVC, sostanza bandita dalle normative GOTS. Questa giacca è realizzata in poliestere recuperato e riciclato, i cordini e il logo sono di sughero. È trattata con un rivestimento idrorepellente.
Per ogni indumento acquistato saranno piantati 10 alberi. Tentree vuole diventare il brand “più ecologicamente progressista del pianeta”. Non si prefiggono solo di ridurre l’impatto dell’industria dell’abbigliamento, ma desiderano anche ispirare una generazione a credere che sia possibile rivitalizzare l’ambiente. “Il nostro obiettivo é piantare 1 miliardo di alberi entro il 2030”.

La scelta è davvero ampia. Di Patagonia abbiamo scelto questa giacca anti pioggia classica, minimalista. L’esterno è realizzato in nylon 100% riciclato ed è traspirante. Può essere ripiegata nella tasca scaldamani. È disponibile in più colori.
Parliamo spesso di questo marchio, per l’impegno verso l’ambiente e per le iniziative che propongono al fine di cambiare l’atteggiamento consumistico nel mondo (organizzano workshop di riparazione dei loro capi e di vendita del loro usato, promuovono campagne di acquisto più consapevole, creano incontri con tematiche relative alla natura).

Jacket made of 100% recycled plastic bottles. We chose this but Ecoalf, a Spanish brand, offers different models, below the link to view them. We like their commitment to projects of cleaning the sea from plastics, by recovering waste in the Mediterranean with the help of fishermen.

It’s one of my favorite brands. The jacket we present is made of 100% recycled polyester, with 30% of plant-based PET component, created through the polymerization and fusion spinning of ethylene glycol derived from plants, extracted from sugar cane molasses. It is reversible, so it will be like having two jackets: we have choosen this one in olive green on one side and dark green on the other. It can be folded into its carrying bag (I can assure you that it is very convenient when traveling from a warm place to a cold one or vice versa).
The range proposed is wide, but verify to choose the line in recycled material, obtained from plastic bottles.

Another Italian brand, from which we have selected this stretch jacket, with maximum comfort and offering protection from rain, snow, cold and wind. Completely produced in Italy, it is made of 100% recycled material.

This jacket is made of recovered and recycled polyester, the cords and the logo are made of cork. It is treated with a water-repellent coating.
For each purchased garment 10 trees will be planted. Tentree wants to become the “most ecologically progressive planet” brand. They are not only intended to reduce the impact of the garment industry, but also to inspire a generation to believe that it is possible to revitalize the environment. “Our goal is to plant 1 billion trees by 2030”.

The choice is really wide. From Patagonia we have chosen this classic, minimalist rain jacket. The exterior is made of 100% recycled nylon and is breathable. It can be folded into the hand pocket. It is available in multiple colors.
We often talk about this brand, for the commitment to the environment and for the initiatives they propose in order to change the consumerist attitude in the world (they organize workshops to repair their garments and sell their used ones, they promote campaigns on more conscious purchasing, they create meetings with issues related to nature).
Their mission? “Making the best product, not causing unnecessary damage, using the business to inspire and implement solutions for the environmental crisis”. “For us in Patagonia, the love of the wonderful and unspoiled places of our planet translates into an active participation in the struggle for their protection and to try to reverse the precipitous decline in the health of the environment on a global level.
